Accessibility Statement

effective date: May 4th 2026

last updated: May 4th 2026

pathcraft is committed to making our website accessible to everyone — including people with disability, neurodivergent visitors, and anyone using assistive technology. we believe that access to clear, useful information about navigating work should not be limited by how someone experiences the web.

our commitment

we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is the standard recommended by the Australian Human Rights Commission and referenced in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).

we recognise this is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time fix. we are actively working to improve the accessibility of our website and will continue to do so as our site develops.

what we have done

in building and designing the pathcraft website, we have made the following accessibility considerations:

visual design

  • high contrast text throughout — dark text on light backgrounds, meeting WCAG AA contrast ratios

  • no text embedded in images for essential content

  • consistent, predictable layouts across all pages

  • clear visual hierarchy using headings, spacing, and typographic weight

  • colour is not used as the only means of conveying information

content and language

  • plain language used throughout — we actively avoid jargon and corporate language

  • short sentences and clear paragraph structure

  • one idea per section wherever possible — reducing cognitive load for all readers, including neurodivergent visitors

  • page titles and headings clearly describe the content of each section

navigation and interaction

  • the website is navigable using a keyboard

  • links are descriptive — we avoid using 'click here' or 'read more' without context

  • form fields include visible labels

  • error messages are clear and describe what needs to be corrected

images and media

  • images include descriptive alternative text (alt text)

  • decorative images are marked appropriately so they are skipped by screen readers

known limitations

we are a small team and our website is built on Wix, which has some limitations in what we can control at a technical level. some areas we are aware of and working on:

  • certain third-party tools (such as our booking system) are managed by external providers and may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards — we are in the process of reviewing these

  • some animations and scroll effects are used on the site — these are designed to be subtle, but if you find they cause difficulty, please contact us and we can provide content in an alternative format

our neurodiversity commitment

we have thought carefully about our neurodivergent visitors — including people with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and anxiety — because they are an important part of the community we serve. specific considerations include:

  • predictable, consistent page layouts so visitors do not need to re-learn navigation between pages

  • one clear call to action per section — reducing decision fatigue

  • generous white space and short text blocks — reducing visual overwhelm

  • no auto-playing audio or video

  • highlight reels and content organised into named, clearly labelled categories for easy navigation

we acknowledge that accessibility for neurodivergent visitors goes beyond technical compliance. if something about our website or content is creating friction for you, we genuinely want to know.

third-party content

our website links to and embeds content from third-party platforms, including our booking system and email marketing provider. we do not control the accessibility of those platforms and cannot guarantee they meet WCAG standards. if you encounter a barrier on a third-party tool we use, please let us know and we will do what we can to offer an alternative.

feedback and contact

accessibility is something we take seriously and we want to hear from you if something is not working. if you:
