Why PATHCRAFT exists

Most support for people navigating work was built for someone else's interests not yours.

HR is there for the business. Coaches help you process how you feel. Lawyers are available, but by the time most people get there, the window to act has already closed. Fair Work is useful if your role is award-covered, a lot of professional roles aren't.

Nobody was sitting in your corner, helping you understand what's actually happening, how decisions are being made, and what you can do about it before it's too late.

That's the gap PATHCRAFT exists to close.

We're not a replacement for legal advice. We're what helps you understand your situation clearly enough to know when you need it and what to say when you get there.

We're not HR. HR works for the organisation. We work for you.

We're not coaching. We're not here to help you reframe how you feel. We're here to help you see what's actually in front of you.

We're not a therapist. Processing matters. But sometimes you also need to know what your options are and how to move.

A note on how we work

Work systems weren't designed with everyone in mind. The unwritten rules, the informal politics, the way feedback lands or doesn’t, these things carry a different weight for different people. That awareness shapes everything we do. Not as a niche offering, but as a baseline. We help people read the room, whatever room they're in.

On access

We know support isn't always accessible when you need it most. If pricing is a barrier, or you want to support someone else going through something difficult, reach out here. We want to make sure cost doesn't decide who gets to understand their situation.

Acknowledgement of Country

PATHCRAFT acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country on which we live and work, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.

As a business grounded in equity, systems thinking, and human dignity, we recognise that the world of work sits within broader systems shaped by history, power, and access. We are committed to learning from First Nations perspectives and to challenging the structures that continue to create inequity. PATHCRAFT contributes 3% of its revenue to Pay The Rent. We plan to increase our contributions as we grow. Read more here.
